Continuing the Tradition — Preserving Our History

The Blackstone Valley Historical Society (BVHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the exploration, preservation, and appreciation of the Blackstone Valley heritage. The Blackstone Valley (in Rhode Island) is comprised of six communities: Pawtucket, Central Falls, Lincoln, Cumberland, North Smithfield and Woonsocket.

The BVHS receives many inquiries about genealogy, family stories and how to contact others about these subjects.  The Society wants to act as a facilitator for people to connect with one another. Post here to ask questions,  share a story or a photo.  Who knows? You may uncover something special!
