Blackstone Valley Historical Society

The Blackstone Valley Historical Society Membership year runs from July 1 to June 30.

During the 07-08 season we have some exciting events to celebrate, not the least of which is the celebration our 1978 – 2008 “golden anniversary”.

2007 -- 2008 the 200th Anniversary of the building of the North Toll Gate House
by the Louisquissett Turnpike Company.

2008 the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the
Blackstone Valley Historical Society.

During the 07-08 season we will be having talks and events relative to these important milestones in our history, beginning with talks relating to the Toll House and the Turnpike. We hope you will join us in celebrating these important milestones and that you will help out where you can.
